The Evanses

Stride Ministries is a “home away from home” Christian community for airmen at Hill AFB Utah. Dan and Erin welcome young military personnel to their home where they provide home cooked meals, a family atmosphere, and do team building exercises while they share the love of Christ with them.

The main large group meeting is on Friday evenings and there are also Bible studies, one-on-one mentoring and lots of outdoor activities that involve nature and adventure to build relationships with them. The goal is to reach the lost with the gospel and to disciple believers; training them to know, go, reach and disciple others as the military sends them throughout the world. Dan works closely with military chaplains on Hill AFB and has been doing this uniquely effective style of ministry for nearly 30 years.
