The Hammonds

Craig and Megan Hammond began connecting with Calvary Memorial Church in the late 1990’s when they both served as volunteers in Calvary’s youth ministry, while they were students at Moody Bible Institute. In 1999 Calvary hired Craig to lead their middle school ministry and then in 2001 Craig became the Pastor of Student Ministries.

In 2007 the Hammonds resigned their position at Calvary as they sensed God was calling them to work with college students in the Pacific Northwest. They then began serving as campus ministers with Campus Ambassadors (the college ministry of Missions Door) at Willamette University in Salem, Oregon.

In the spring of 2019 Craig and Megan changed to a new ministry category within Missions Door as they were invited to pilot a volunteer chaplaincy program in their local public schools. They are enjoying the challenge of this unique ministry opportunity. They have four children, Kyler, Madelyn, Nora, Jackson and a dog named, Whoopsie.
