The Hannahs

Ryan and Heidi have served with the mission organization SIM since 1996. They first served in Mozambique and Malawi where  Ryan was Country Director for SIM in Malawi. After one year of language and culture learning, Ryan stepped into the position of Deputy Director while Heidi focused on personnel. In August 2011 they moved to Thailand to join SIM’s China-SE Asia team. 

Ryan is the current Thailand Director and Heidi the Personnel Director. They lead a team of missionaries involved in church planting, sports ministry, community development and support ministries like education and counseling. They recently began training and sending Thai missionaries to countries in the region. They are deeply involved in training and mentoring leaders for mission, both in Thailand and further abroad. They desire to see those who live and die without the gospel given a chance to understand that the creator God desires to have a relationship with him.
